Der tägliche Zwiespalt zwischen Vorzügen, Bequemlichkeiten sowie politischen Fragwürdigkeiten, Zwängen und lähmender Atmosphäre des Lebens im Wahlwohnort Wien ist das zentrale Motiv des Films.

Die freischweifende Reflexion des Sprechers wird durch eine kontinuierliche Bildebene zusammen gehalten.

So mischen sich Wortbilder in den Raum, Assoziationen oszillieren zwischen politischen Anspielungen, touristischen Klischees und Alltäglichem. 

Das Motiv des Essens symbolisiert das Aufnehmen der Stadt, welches sich von Lust und Notwendigkeit zur Abhängigkeit bis hin zu Resignation und Ekel wandelt.
